I have reviewed the Zacuto Z-Finder and love it's amazing abilities. That was my first Zacuto product I purchased. I have since purchased other Zacuto gear and I can't help but write more reviews. Why? They are well though out, built well and innovative.

When it comes to professional equipment, some companies do it so well, it seems almost too good to be true. I am used to using professional equipment and have high expectations as to how it will work.  When I purchase a piece of gear that doesn't do it's job, not only do I find it a waste of time and money but extremely frustrating as well. When I purchase a product that makes me say: How did I ever live without this? I find I need to tell everyone about it.

First things first is that shooting DSLR video will give you amazing images that rival film in many respects (and it's only going to get better). The options with most DSLR cameras are many and may be confusing, especially if you come from a stills background or even a video background but shooting with Betacams, etc. There's some things you need to know and I hope this helps you achieve better video results...

I love the Nikon D7000. As a professional Videographer/Cinematographer I am used to using professional tools, especially cameras. And when it comes to shooting video most, if not all, pro cameras have the switches and knobs in the same place.

Enter DSLR... or should I say HDSLR!

Yay! I love it when I get to not only play with new toys but actually own them.  So last year I decided to take the DSLR plunge and bought the Nikon D60. Why did I choose Nikon over Canon or any other manufacturer? Well, quite simply, it's what my Dad used and my sister also had one. My Mom owns a Canon that I also really liked. But my Dad also donated his lenses to me so I decided I had several lenses that I could play with.
